Lionel Messi’s bodyguard is a beast! Yassine Chueko breaks a wall with savage MMA kick on training partner as he prepares for Inter Miami superstar’s return to action
Lionel Messi may be out of action with an ankle injury but the Inter Miami superstar’s bodyguard is still working hard to keep in top shape.
Yassine Chueko has shown off a brutal training regime on social media that ended with a savage MMA kick on his training partner Luan Aguirre Elias. The two can then be spotted joking together as it’s revealed how the kick during their sparring session resulted in a seriously damaged wall. “@luanchileno you should pay for the wall,” Chueko teased in the caption.
Chueko has been hired to work as Messi’s bodyguard after a recommendation from owner David Beckham following the Argentine’s arrival at Inter Miami from PSG. The 35-year-old has been tasked with keeping a close eye on the Inter Miami superstar and has admitted he now feels part of Messi’s family after spending so much time with the World Cup winner, his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and the couple’s three sons.
Chueko has become something of an enigmatic figure at Inter Miami after hitting the headlines by tackling pitch invaders heading for Messi. It has been claimed he is a former Navy SEAL but Inter Miami boss Tata Martino has insisted such reports are false.
Messi is currently continuing his recovery from an ankle injury. The World Cup winner has been left out of the Argentina squad for September World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Chile and is not currently expected to make his return for Inter Miami until mid-September.
