Emma Hayes shares injury update on Tierna Davidson, Jaedyn Shaw and Emily Fox ahead of USWNT’s Olympic semifinal vs Germany
The USWNT boss has not declared anyone out for semifinal vs Germany
After suffering an injury ahead of the USWNT’s opening game of the Olympics, Jaedyn Shaw was included on the match roster in the team’s narrow 1-0 victory over Japan in the quarterfinals. Tierna Davidson, meanwhile, missed the match due to a knee contusion and fullback Emily Fox departed the contest with minutes to spare in extra time after picking up a tough knock.
Shaw, Davison, and Fox have been listed as full-participants in USWNT training Monday, with manager Emma Hayes not yet declaring anyone out for the match.
Posting on social media, the official USWNT account on X shared training photos of all three and midfielder Rose Lavelle. Hayes declared that “everyone is training today” per the post.
A full roster would be a boost for the USWNT against a strong Germany side.
